SPEAKER AND MAGNETIC CIRCUIT

A high-performance speaker having a magnetic circuit with a simple construction achieved without complex processing. The speaker has a diaphragm with a simple construction that is not a narrow U-shaped diaphragm difficult to form. The speaker (100) has an internal magnet-type magnetic circuit (4) having a magnet (1), a plate (2), and a yoke (3); a voice coil (7); and a diaphragm (6) for vibratably supporting the voice coil (7) at a position near an end of the plate (2). The yoke (3) is formed in a substantially flat plate shape having the same or greater diameter than the plate (2). The diaphragm (6) has formed at its center a dome-like vibration section (61); a cone-like vibration section (63) supported at its outer circumference by a speaker frame (5); and a voice coil bobbin (62) formed between the dome-like vibration section (61) and the cone-like vibration section (63) and having an L-shaped cross-section bent outward from an end of a tubular section at which the voice coil (7) is placed. These elements of the diaphragm are integrally formed.
