The unit has metallic heat conducting strips (2) and a carrier foil (1) that is formed as a flexibly formed plastic carrier layer, where the strips producing infra red radiation are arranged in a meander shaped manner. The carrier foil has plastic foil layers (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b) that are made of heat resistance polyester material. The strips have a temperature of 50 degree Celsius to 110 degree Celsius, where the meander shaped running of the strips is divided into two heating surface areas lying in a plane.
