The method involves registering a mobile communication terminal (MKE) controlled over a connection control unit (P1) for a communication service in an Internet protocol (IP)-based service communication system. A protected data link is made according to a safety key to register the communication service between the terminal and control unit over an access network. Another data link is made for registering the terminal for the service at the communication system over another access network after changing the terminal from the former network to the latter network.
