Protective sleeve for securing heavy load on moving platform bears a high-friction rubber coating

A woven textile protective sleeve (1) is placed around an anchorage strap (2) or cable and bears a coating (6) that has a much higher coefficient of friction than the naked sleeve weave. The coating is placed in direct contact with an item (3) that is to be secured. The coating (6) is a plastic with embedded friction particles e.g. rubber grains or powder applied several millimeters thick in a hot casting process. The sleeve frictional coating is rectangular and covers the width of the underlying strap.
