<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for suppressing power consumption according to the movement of electronic equipment to suppress the consumption of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 11 is configured as an acceleration sensor for detecting the acceleration of a compact portable terminal 1, and inputs the detection signal of the detected acceleration to a detection decision part 13. An acceleration setting value storage part 12 stores the characteristics of the change of acceleration as an acceleration set value. A detection decision part 13 decides whether or not the characteristics of the change of acceleration shown by a detection signal input from the acceleration sensor 11 fit to the characteristics of the acceleration setting value stored in the acceleration setting value storage part 12. When receiving a decision result showing that the characteristics of the change of acceleration fit to the characteristics of the first acceleration setting value from the detection decision part 13, a control part 14 applies a supply stop instruction to instruct the stop of the supply of a power to a power source control object 15 to the power source control object 15.
