<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy generation system in which gas leakage is accurately determined in a short time even in a very large pressure range. <P>SOLUTION: This energy generation system comprises a main stop valve H100 and a shut-off valve H21 forming a closed space in a high-pressure gas pipe 74, a signal amplifier 102 amplifying the pressure variation width of a high-pressure gas pipe 74 detected by a pressure detection part 100, and a leakage determination part 105 determining for leakage according to a pressure variation after the amplification. Normally, the signal amplifier 102 is not used and, therefore, the pressure can be detected in a wide range. To determine the leakage, the high-pressure gas pipe 74 is sealed, and a slight pressure variation width is amplified by the signal amplifier 102.
