<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition which has excellent piezoelectric characteristics and is excellent in the electric resistance at high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A laminated piezoelectric element 1 includes a plurality of piezoelectric layers 11 containing a composite oxide as a main component and internal electrode layers 12 formed between the plurality of piezoelectric layers 11 and containing Cu. Each piezoelectric layer 11 contains, as a main component, the composite oxide expressed by formula: (Pb<SB>a-b</SB>Me<SB>b</SB>)[(Zn<SB>1/3</SB>Nb<SB>2/3</SB>)<SB>x</SB>Ti<SB>y</SB>Zr<SB>z</SB>]O<SB>3</SB>(wherein, 0.96≤a≤1.03; 0≤b≤0.1; 0.05≤x≤0.15; 0.25≤y≤0.5; 0.35≤z≤0.6; x+y+z=1; Me is at least one kind selected from Sr, Ca, and Ba), and further contains at least one kind of components expressed by CuO<SB>α</SB>(α≥0) as a first sub-component in an amount of <3 mass% expressed in terms of CuO, and a rare earth metal element as a second sub-component in an amount of <0.8 mass% expressed in terms of oxide, each amount being based on the main component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
