PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polypeptide belonging to a guanosine triphosphate-binding protein coupled receptor (hereinafter referred to as GPCR) family, to provide a polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide and to provide a method for producing the molecules and use thereof.

SOLUTION: An automatic system for predicting the entire gene structure, predicting the conformation from a specific amino acid sequence encoded with the gene by comparison with the GPCR, fusing the resultant fragment sequence separated by the prediction and refining the quality of gene candidates is utilized. Thereby, the GPCR is identified from the whole human genome.
