PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable lens hood designed so as to cut light rays entering at angles greater than the photographing field angle of an imaging element when a photographic lens for a 35 mm film is used in a digital single lens reflex camera. SOLUTION: An approximately cylindrical member is movably disposed on the peripheral part of the leading end of a lens barrel 1 along the optical axis of the lens barrel 1. When set on the side closest to an image face, the movable lens hood 3 cuts light rays entering at angles greater than the maximum photographing field angle of the 35 mm film. When set on the side closest to a subject, the movable lens hood 3 cuts light rays entering at angles greater than the photographing field angle of the imaging element smaller than the maximum photographing field angle of the 35 mm film.
