PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a narrow frame by controlling expansion of a sealant when two substrates are stuck by using the sealant. SOLUTION: In a display apparatus 1 formed by sticking a driving substrate 10 and a counter substrate 20 to each other via the sealant 30 on the periphery of a display region S provided at the center part of the driving substrate 10, a gap between the driving substrate 10 and the counter substrate 20 in an application region R1 of the sealant 30 is made narrower than that in an adjacent region R2 adjacent to the application region R1 on the display region S side.
