PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a signal over a substrate as a whole with superior sensitivity, even when using a resin substrate. SOLUTION: The present invention is disclosed to be provided with a process (a) for supplying a solution containing an examined substance, onto one main face of a substantially planar resin member with the selective coupling substance immobilized on the one main face, and a process (b) for detecting the interaction between the examined substance and the selective coupling substance, and the other main face of the resin member is brought into contact with water or an aqueous solution, at least in the process (a).
