Disclosed is a slide having a simplified separating device expedient to use. The separating device is made of a plastic body including an elongated elastically deformable portion, and first and second axial rotating portions formed at opposite ends of the elastically deformable portion and having first and second coupling holes. The separating device is secured to an inner bottom surface of a movable rail of the slide such that the device is axially rotatable about the first and second coupling holes. The movable rail has two coupling holes corresponding to the first and second coupling holes. A distance between the coupling holes of the movable rail is shorter than a distance between the first and second coupling holes, such that the elastically deformable portion is curved toward either sidewall of the rail when the separating device is secured to the movable rail. |
