<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deviation of an operation reference position, to reduce operation errors and to improve operability by providing an operation member capable of instructing a prescribed operation by moving in the state that a fingertip or an object is in contact and performing an operation with a position at which the fingertip or the object touches the operation member as the operation reference position. <P>SOLUTION: The position at which a finger touches a control pad 109 first is defined as the operation reference position 301, it is reset when the finger is separated from the control pad 109, and a tele end 302 and a wide end 303 are set respectively at both ends of the control pad 109. A zoom operation in a tele direction is performed by moving the position of the finger touching the control pad 109 from a default position 301 to the tele end 302.
