<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending metallic material of a handrail capable of forming a bending part for enhancing a sense of unity with both-side handrail constituting members by forming the bending part of the handrail having sufficient strength by operation with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This bending metallic material 10 is composed of a plastically deformable metallic part 14, and is used for the bending part 12 of the handrail 11. The metallic part 14 has a U-shaped cross-sectional part 18. A pair of side wall parts 15 of the U-shaped cross-sectional part 18 are joined to both-side handrail bodies 13, and an upper surface 16a of a connecting wall part 16 is arranged and installed along an upper surface 13a of both-side handrail bodies 13. The connecting wall part 16 has an inside surface 16b forming a concave curved surface by thickening the thickness toward both-side side wall parts more than the center. The metallic part 14 is plastically deformed by bending both-side handrail bodies 13 of sandwiching the bending part 12. A curved surface of smoothly connecting the upper surface 13a of both-side handrail bodies 13 to the bending part 12, is formed of an upper surface 16a of the connecting wall part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
