PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing device and a repair method using the repairing device capable of cutting an invert to expose the lower half of a connection part embedded in the invert and then repairing the connection part. SOLUTION: The repairing device 7 for the connection part between a manhole peripheral wall 2 and a pipe 3 has a holding member 8 installed within a pipe of the manhole peripheral wall; an axis direction maintaining rod 9 held in the axis direction of the pipe by the holding member; an axis direction determining connection member 21 connected to the axis maintaining rod; a cutting body 22 connected to the axis direction determining connection member; an invert and pipe outer periphery cutting member 10 mounted to the lower part of the cutting body; an invert and rotating member; an invert and vertical moving member; an axis direction moving member for moving in the axis direction of the pipe; and a cutting body holding member.
