PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip removal instrument for an endoscope, which is capable of safely and reliably removing a clip, which is placed in a bite state in internal living tissue, through the treatment tool insertion channel of the endoscope. SOLUTION: The clip removal instrument comprises: a flexible mantle tube 1; a plurality of fastening ring holding arms 2 which is arranged at the distal end of the mantle tube 1 and performs an opening/closing movement so as to hold a fastening ring 21 at the distal end part by an operation from a proximal end side; and a clip push-out member 4 for pushing out the clip 20 forward relative to the fastening ring 21 which is held by the fastening ring holding arms 2. The clip 20 is pushed-out relatively forward from the fastening ring 21 by the clip push-out member 4 in a state where the fastening ring 21 is held by the fastening ring holding arms 2.
