<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the compartment space of a vehicle, reduce restriction on the design of a fuel cell stack, and increase the power of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell vehicle includes a vehicle body 60; wheels 21 rotatably supported by the vehicle body 60; the fuel cell stack placed in a wheel 21; a fuel tank 41 that is mounted in the vehicle body 60, and stores fuel to be supplied to the fuel cell stack; means for determining whether or not a connecting condition is met; and means that, when the coupling condition is met, connects the fuel cell stack and the fuel tank 41 together. Consequently, the compartment space of the vehicle can be increased and restriction on the design of the fuel cell stack can be reduced.
