<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform an opening operation of an open/close door 50 having a movable conveyance path 30 with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A conveyance outside clearance La from the outer end edge 30A of the movable conveyance path 30, which is arranged at the inner surface side of the open/close door 50 of the apparatus body, up to the side-end edge of a sheet-like recording medium P is set larger than the conveyance inside clearance Lb (La>Lb). Consequently, the relative movement of the sheet-like recording medium P is permitted when performing jam processing by opening the movable conveyance path 30 along with the open/close door 50. Accordingly, the passing through operation of the sheet-like recording medium P with respect to the movable conveyance path 30 is smoothly performed, thereby preventing the occurrence of a jam state due to biting or the like of the sheet-like recording medium P with respect to the movable conveyance path 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
