PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an engine in which foreign matters such as fuel and carbon and blow-by gas are prevented from entering into a negative pressure sensor via a negative pressure transmission route. SOLUTION: A sensor unit 16 is formed by installing a throttle sensor 18 and the negative pressure sensor 20 in a sensor housing 17 fitted to one side mounting surface 15 of a throttle body 1. The negative pressure transmission route 35 having the sensor unit 16 and allowing an intake path 2 to communicate with the negative pressure sensor 20 is formed in a crank shape by a first passage 35a having one end opened to the upper half peripheral surface of the intake path 2 in proximity to a horizontal plane H including the axis of the intake path 2, a groove-like second passage 35b formed between the joining surfaces of the throttle body 1 and the sensor housing 17 so as to extend from the other end of the first passage 35a upward at a generally right angle, and a third passage 35c formed in the throttle body 1 so as to extend from the upper end of the second passage 35b to the opposite side of the first passage 35a until it reaches the negative pressure sensor 20.
