摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of alignment between a throttle body and a sensor housing. SOLUTION: A positioning recess 50 concentrically surrounding the valve stem 5a of the throttle valve 5 and a positioning hole 52 apart from the recess are formed in one side mounting surface 15 of the throttle body 1. A positioning tube 51 fitted to the positioning recess 50 and a positioning pin 53 fitted to the positioning hole 52 are formed on the synthetic resin sensor housing 17 joined to the mounting surface 15 with a plurality of bolts 27 and in which a throttle sensor 18 is contained. The four rows of radially projecting projections 53a, 53a, 53b, 53b of the positioning pin 53 are integrally connected to each other crosswise in cross section to form the fixing structure for alinging between the throttle body and the sensor housing. The positioning pin 53 is so disposed that the pair of projections 53a, 53a projecting in the opposite directions come onto a straightline L connecting both centers of the positioning tube 51 and the positioning pin 53 to each other.
