PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square-wave voltage driving method applied to a planar lamp body. SOLUTION: The square-wave voltage driving method, applied mainly for a lamp body, as a light source applied for a flat display and general lighting, includes following steps. Power component direct-current power source is supplied to change it to square-wave voltage, trigger the voltage at rising and falling forward edges of the square voltage is raised to a lighting voltage with the use of booster components, and a pulse-type current is provided which can just improve the dielectric layer barrier of the lamp body.
