PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotator locking mechanism which suppresses looseness between a groove and a locking member during engagement, and also, prevents the locking member from being broken. SOLUTION: The rotator locking mechanism is provided with: a locking gear part 11b having a plurality of tooth grooves 11d on the outer peripheral face; the locking member 21 which makes the locking gear part 11b into a halt while being fitted to the tooth groove 11d of the locking gear part 11b; and a torsion spring 25 which presses the locking member 21 to the locking gear part 11b side. The locking member 21 is at least partially provided with a tapered-shape part 21c which is tapered off toward the tip side and has a width smaller in its tip side than in the tooth groove 11d.
