The device has a light source, and cameras (5) that are circularly or laminarly arranged to each other in angular separation aligned in equidistant on object geometry. The cameras cover a common visual field (11), where the visual field lies in center of a circle formed by the cameras. The cameras are designed as charge coupled device (CCD) cameras or complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) cameras. The cameras comprise a standard interface for image transmission such as IEEE 1394, Ethernet, wireless local area network (WLAN) or universal serial bus (USB).
