The system has an ultra high vacuum (UHV)-pump system, and a rotary window that is driven by a principle specification of an electromagnetic motor (M). A linear motor directly drives a frame (R) of the window, and another motor is driven over a rotary axis (VD) at a rear magnetic suspension (m) of the window. A sluice (S) is provided near a pre-chamber for separating an accelerator system from the window system for safety reasons and for deactivating the window. The window is mechanically unloaded by the low pressure loss between front and rear side of the window system. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an application for a pump operation (2) an application for operation of a beam dump system (3) a construction for cooling a beam-dump-window system (4) an UHV-pump system.
