A separator module for the removal of liquid droplets from smoke gases contains a first section comprising 50 mm diameter, vertical rods (2a, b) spaced 80 mm apart, followed by a second section comprising vertical, parallel, bowed lamellar vanes spaced apart at 30 mm. The rod baffles may be rotatable. The lamellar vanes may be formed with a channel forming extension ridge extending down the full length of the vane.
