PRINTING PRESS EQUIPPED WITH ACTUATOR, MOUNTED ON THE FRAME, WHICH LOCKS PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer the printing press of the above-mentioned type which can be maintained easily at lower cost.

SOLUTION: This printing press comprises a frame (11) and at least one plate cylinder (5) which extends along a longitudinal axis (L) and which is mounted so as to rotate on the frame (11) in order to be able to rotate with the said longitudinal axis (L) as the center. The press comprises at least one actuator (51) and the plate cylinder (5) comprises at least one plate locking bar (25A, 25B) which extends within the plate cylinder (5). At least one portion of the said bar can be moved under the action of the actuator between an extracted position for locking and a retracted position for unlocking a plate on the plate cylinder (5). The actuator (51) is supported by the frame (11).
