<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system that protects single battery from overcharging, or prevents capacity drop of lithium-ion back battery; and achieves continuous connection by eliminating connection, switching or disconnection of the lithium-ion back battery. <P>SOLUTION: A charge current limiting circuit connected, in series with a lithium-ion battery pack supplies an arbitrary value of charge current that will not depend on the load fluctuations of charging route of the lithium-ion battery pack, disconnects or connects the lithium-ion battery pack by a switch from or to DC output supply devices or load devices. Also, a voltage-regulating circuit is connected in parallel for each of plural single batteries that are connected in series that constitutes the lithium-ion battery. The voltage-regulating circuit detects full charge voltages of respective single batteries, and bypasses the charging current, thus adjusting the variations in charging voltages of individual batteries at lithium-ion battery pack during charging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
