PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nickel composite particles having a silica coating layer and improved oxidation resistance and heat shrinkage characteristics, and to provide a method for producing nickel composite particles using an organic-nickel composite material. SOLUTION: A method is provided for producing nickel composite particles each composed of a nickel nanoparticle and a silica coating layer formed on its surface. The method comprises a step of heating nickel composite particles, each having a silica coating layer formed by the polycondensation of a silica layer forming substance on the surfaces of nickel nanoparticles, a nickel salt solution, and a silica layer forming substance at 25 to 80°C for 0.5 to 2 hr while stirring, a step of obtaining organic-nickel composite material by filtration, washing, and drying, and a step of heat-treating the organic-nickel composite at 200 to 500°C for 0.5 to 4 hr. The nickel composite particles exhibit excellent oxidation resistance and heat shrinkage characteristics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
