PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial filtering adaptable to interference waves appearing unsteadily even when interference waves do not exist steadily, thereby enhancing interference elimination capability. SOLUTION: When no communication takes place, signals from a plurality of interference-source wireless communication apparatuses 2 are received in advance by an interference signal reception means 6 as a pre-process mode, and interference correlation matrices RI resultantly obtained are stored in a storage means 7. Based on the interference correlation matrices RI, interference-wave reception antenna weighting factors WI are prepared, with which respective transmission signals from interference-source wireless communication apparatuses 2 are received selectively. When a communication takes place, the interference signal reception means 6 moves to a reception process mode, and a signal separation means 9 performs normal reception. An interference-wave level detection means 8 detects fluctuations of the interference-wave components, based on the signal power received using the interference source reception antenna weighting factors WI. When interference waves appear or vary, desired-wave separating reception antenna weight factors are adaptively varied so as to reduce the interference by using the new interference correlation matrices.
