PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an electrode is damaged in a method in which a spacer is inserted between an anode and a cathode from outside after installing the both electrodes at predetermined positions in an electrolytic cell in order to prevent a short circuit of the anode and the cathode, in electrolytic collection of a metal, and to provide an electrode capable of preventing the short circuit between the both electrodes and the damages of the electrodes when they are used, and an electrolytic cell using the same. SOLUTION: A spacer 19 is fixed on the surface of an anode 13. Thereby, as the spacer and the anode are unified, it becomes easy to install the spacer in the electrolytic cell 12, and the short circuit between the anode 13 and the cathode 14 can be prevented.
