PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of requiring to prevent a screw head part from contacting with a passenger since a screw in a handrail of a passenger conveyor becomes a projection by loosening or falling off by some factor. SOLUTION: A spring washer 6B is installed in a screw 6, and a ring 7 is installed in the head part of the screw 6, and its ring 7 avoids a driver insertion port existing in the head part of the screw 6. The deck joining part side avoids the spring washer 6B, and a crease is also attached to an outer peripheral part of the ring 7. A depth dimension of its crease is set larger than the thickness of the spring washer 6B, and the projection is arranged on the step side of the ring 7, and is constituted for overhanging from the head part of the screw 6.
