In particular implementations, a system and process for a fuel dispenser (110) may include the ability to receive at least a portion of transaction data for a fueling session (1508), determine whether at least a portion of the received transaction data requires a security measure (1516), and, if at least a portion of the received transaction data requires a security measure, apply a security measure to at least a portion of the received transaction data (1520).
