PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorene polymer exhibiting excellent properties as a light-emitting material of a light-emitting layer of a polymeric LED.

SOLUTION: The fluorene polymer has a terminal group represented by formula (2) (wherein B1is -O- or the like; Ar02is a hydrogen atom or the like; R06is a direct bond or the like; R1is an alkylene group or the like; R20is a hydrogen atom or the like; R03and R04are each independently a substituent group; c is an integer of 0-4; d is an integer of 0-3; and a plurality of R03and R04may be the same or different) at the end of the molecular chain thereof.
