PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal unit which more reliably determines connection to a correct communication terminal of one's party corresponding to a calling number. SOLUTION: Subscriber number information is received from the communication terminal of one's party connected by a line according to the input of the calling number, and collation is performed successively to four lower digits of the subscriber number information, four lower digits of the calling number, and four lower digits of a collation dedication number. When the four lower digits of the subscriber number information match those of the calling number or collation dedication number, it is determined that the terminal of one's party is a correct communication terminal corresponding to the calling number for executing facsimile transmission. When the four lower digits of the subscriber number information do not coincide with both the four lower digits of the calling and collation dedication numbers; it is determined that the terminal of one's party is not the correct communication terminal corresponding to the calling number, and the facsimile transmission is stopped.
