PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for lining the inside surface of a pipe by which even the steel pipe having large unevenness or ups and downs on the inside surface can be lined into a smooth, non-rugged finished surface without grinding/removing ups and downs. SOLUTION: The method for lining the inside surface of the pipe comprises the steps of: injecting a fluidized material to be hardened with time into the steel pipe having unevenness, a difference in level or a corner on the inside surface to form a first layer to be stuck closely to the inside surface of the steel pipe; hardening the first layer; grinding the inside surface of the hardened first layer; and supplying a packing material and a resin-containing solution onto the ground first layer to form a second layer to be stuck closely to the first layer. As a result, the unevenness on the inside surface of the steel pipe is buried in the first layer and does not adversely affecting the finished surface of the second layer.
