The device has a meander-shaped electrical heating conductor (3) clamped between ceramic supporting bodies in a frame (1), where loop lines (4) of a meander are supported on sides of the bodies by springs. The lines are arranged between the supporting bodies on one side and inner sides of the frame on the other side. The springs are formed in a form part (5) of sheet metal, where the part has a base that is laid on the inner sides of the frame, and guides are sectioned from the inner sides. The springs are exposed from the base and are adjusted against the sides opposite to the conductor.
