A light emitting element group (10) includes a plurality of light emitting element units (DU). A first current limit circuit (20) is arranged in series to the light emitting element group (10) so as to limit a first drive current Idrv1 flowing from one end to the other end of the light emitting element group (10). A second current limit circuit (30) is arranged in parallel to the first current limit circuit (20) so as to limit a second drive current Idrv2 flowing to the light emitting element group (10) in the direction opposite to the first drive current Idrv1.
