<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further actively provide information related to commodity sales matched to a user prior to browsing of pages of individual commodities. <P>SOLUTION: The server 10 accepts input of user ID data from a terminal 20a, 20b, accepts selection of a commodity by a user concerned, and stores commodity ID data showing the accepted commodity in association with the user ID data concerned as a user-based commodity selection table. The server 10 further computes a commodity selection similarity between users based on the user-based commodity selection table, and stores it as a commodity selection similarity table.
