<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode and a battery, and with high capacity and improved cycle characteristics, and also to provide their manufacturing methods. <P>SOLUTION: An anode active substance layer 12 contains: an anode active substance containing at least tin, iron, and carbon as constituent elements, with a content of the carbon of 11.9% to 29.7% by mass, and with a ratio of the iron to a total of the tin and the iron of 26.4% to 48.5% by mass; and at least one kind of binder out of a group consisting of copolymers composed of polyvinylidene fluoride and vinylidene fluoride heated and fused at a temperature above the melting point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
