<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus having improved dosing characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The coating apparatus comprises an application device at one end and a carrier body provided with a pin at the other end, wherein a lateral flow path penetrates through the pin, an axial flow path diverged from the lateral flow path reaches the application device, a reservoir receptacle with an annular end seal engages with the pin in a hermetic manner, and thereby the coating apparatus is operated by moving the reservoir receptacle on the pin toward the application device so as to open a flow connection between the reservoir receptacle and the lateral flow path, and since the reservoir receptacle has a receptacle segment being at least partially elastically deformable, when the coating apparatus is operated and a flow connection between the lateral flow path and the receptacle segment is made, a free-flowing substance is discharged by manual compression within an elastically deformable range of the receptacle segment through the application device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
