PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stacking performance of cut recording sheets on a tray. SOLUTION: In a sorter 50, after a predetermined time passes since the predetermined size or more of cut recording sheets are discharged from an exit 148 of a processor 16 onto the tray 146, the tray 146 is moved a step down independently of whether the same order is completed or not.
