PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bell device having a simple configuration and capable of preventing a rim from being damaged. SOLUTION: This bell device 1 is provided with a bell body 8 having a hemispherical bell 18, and the bell body 8 is attached to a fork 5 of a front wheel 4 by a connection means 14 so as to swing. While an operation lever 7 provided on a handle 3 is not pressed, the bell 18 does not ring because a rubber ring 11 provided in the bell body 8 is separated from the rim 12. On the other hand, when the operation lever 7 is pressed during the running of a bicycle 2, the bell body 8 rises through a wire 15, and the rubber ring 11 comes into contact with the rim 12 and is rotated.
