PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an upper limit of an ejection frequency by applying a drive waveform for improving a responsiveness of deformation of a share mode type piezoelectric element, and to provide a drive circuit capable of preventing malfunction of a peripheral control circuit due to an excessive current, and a timing of a waveform in an inkjet recorder having the share mode type piezoelectric element inkjet head. SOLUTION: In this inkjet recorder, the piezoelectric element drive circuit that applies a plurality of drive waveforms to a piezoelectric material at prescribed timings and the control circuit that controls the drive circuit so as to selectively output the drive waveforms to the piezoelectric element according to image data are independently grounded.
