PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the good securing even in the case of producing the unevenness in the protruded degrees from the upper surface of a workpiece on the upper end surface of a rivet and further, the unevenness in the hardness of the rivet, in a caulking workpiece for securing two workpieces so as to be rockable while using the rivet as the axis. SOLUTION: A rotary caulking machine is used for securing two workpieces so as to be rockable while using the rivet as the axis by pressure-contacting and rotating a rotary punch on the upper end surface of the rivet formed by inserting into a through-hole of two workpieces laid on a table in piled-up state. This rotary caulking machine is provided with a motor 32 for controlling the rotation into a fixed speed, a rocking mechanism 34 for rocking while using the rivet as the axis by transmitting the rotating power of the motor 32 to the workpiece at the lower side in two workpieces and a integrated control means for separating the rotary punch from the upper end surface of the rivet, in the case of reaching the power needed to the rocking of the workpiece at the lower side to a prescribed value.
