PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile scale remover applicable to any of steam generators, which are different in clearance between heat transfer tube support plate and that between adjacent heat transfer tubes, in a nuclear power generation plant. SOLUTION: This scale remover is provided with a telescopic cylinder type elevator mountable on the heat transfer tube support plate in the steam generator, a tube guide mechanism 2 touching the adjacent heat transfer tubes mutually for vertically holding the telescopic cylinder elevator, a telescopic arm 3 arranged at the tip of the tube guide mechanism 2, a lance feeder 4, which is arranged at the tip of the telescopic arm 3 and provided with a cleaning nozzle at the tip, and a clamp mechanism fixing the lance feeder 4 to the adjacent heat transfer tube. In the telescopic arm 3 part, a water pressure cylinder 21, a rack 22 locked to the shaft tip part of the water pressure cylinder 21, a pinion 23 meshing with the rack 22, and a turning shaft 24 journaling the pinion 23 to the telescopic arm are arranged, and a turning mechanism 3a turning according to drive of the water pressure cylinder is arranged.
