A CAD device includes: input means (102A) for inputting design input information on a part model by a CAD operator; order information storage means (105A) for storing in advance order information indicating the order of a plurality of design steps into which the part model design procedure is divided; design reference storage means (105B) for storing in advance a design reference as a reference of the design of the part model assigned for each of the design steps; design means (101A) for judging whether the design input information inputted in each design step satisfies the design reference, automatically designing the part model assigned to the step if the design reference is satisfied, and allowing a shift to the next design step; and display means (103A) capable of displaying a part model designed at least by the design means (101A).
