<p>An automotive airbag assembly has a gas generator (10) and an airbag (12) within a housing to which the generator is secured. The airbag is fan-folded to a package. The generator is attached to the first part (21) of the two-part housing (21, 22), while the second part has a recess (AB) for the folded air bag (12). The two parts of the housing are joined by a flexible link that facilitates variation of the installation under the instrument panel in front to the front-seat passenger.</p> |
