PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently distribute a media label file to a content purchaser.

SOLUTION: A content purchase certificate and the like is embedded together with content data to an optical disk 6 such as a DVD or the like so as not to involve any influence on a reproduction operation. Identification by referencing the content purchase certificate is performed in a content management center 9 by a network connectable PC 7 via an external network such as the Internet or the like, so that media label data is made printable.
