PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradation processor which can obtain good print out results having no rounding structure by generating mesh processing image data including halftone where gradation skip of halftone data generated by the logic of necessary and sufficient minimum operating speed is suppressed in a low resolution printer which does not produce approximate output but copies commercial printing completely. SOLUTION: One pixel of a mechanism performing n-value printing is virtually divided into necessary minimum n-1 pieces of subpixels wherein the threshold calculation coordinates of vice-next pixels take such a position as they do not overlap on the x-axis or the y-axis, and the value of n-value printing is determined by the accumulated value of subpixels.
