PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To log in to a system by means of a plurality of different authorities for one piece of ID information. SOLUTION: An authentication program is caused to function as an accepting means for accepting ID information and password information when a user inputs the ID information and the password information from an input means 40 while a login screen is displayed in an output means 50 during log in to an operating system (OS) 20; a reading means for reading authority information matching the password information from an authentication information table 60, based on the ID information and the password information; and an output means for outputting the ID information and the authority information read to the operating system (OS) 20.
